I was among the first to qualify when EPCs were introduced. I've spent every year since learning what really moves a home's rating.

When Energy Performance Certificates were introduced, Carl was one of the first people in the country to qualify as an assessor. He has been assessing homes ever since, through every change to the rules, the software and the calculation method.

Today Carl leads a team of accredited assessors at Home Survey, passing on that experience so every certificate is recorded accurately.

That experience matters. Recording the right wall type, insulation depth and heating system decides your rating, and your rating can decide whether a home sells or can be let.

My Home Survey Ltd

My Home Survey Ltd works predominantly with local authorities and housing providers on energy efficiency. Its main website, home-surveyors.com, covers the full range of services:

  • PAS 2035 retrofit coordination for funded and whole-house retrofit programmes
  • Energy Performance Certificates for individual homes and whole portfolios
  • Air tightness testing

Home Survey (homesurvey.eu) is the company's dedicated EPC service for homeowners, landlords and agents, with a simple fixed fee of £75.
